Article: Accessing Cambridge Online Mathematics
Once you have activated the access code for your mathematics product, your experience in Cambridge GO will be different according to your role (teacher or student) and whether you belong to a school.
Students
Students will see the maths coursebook in their Resources screen:
We advise students to join their school in Cambridge GO. This will mean they can:
- Join a class for the mathematics product using a Class Key.
- Complete tasks assigned by a teacher.
- Complete tests assigned by a teacher.
- View reports on progress.
Students will see this dashboard when they open the mathematics product:
The dashboard offers quick access to some features. The side navigation allows access to all features in the product.
Teachers
If you are registered as a Teacher in Cambridge GO, you will see two versions of the mathematics product in your Resources screen. The teacher access version is needed for task assigning and reporting functionality in the mathematics product.

It is advisable to register your school in Cambridge GO and to upload your students’ details, to be able to use all the features in your mathematics product.
Registering a school in Cambridge GO and joining students will allow a teacher to:
- Create classes within the mathematics product and invite students to join using a Class Key.
- Assign tasks to students and track their progress.
- Create, assign, and view reports of custom tests.
- View reports of student’s engagement with the mathematics product and performance in the different features.

Quickly switching between products
If you have a number of Cambridge University Press mathematics products for different courses or year levels you can swap between them without having to relaunch the product from Cambridge GO.
- Open Course Content in the left navigation bar.
- The Course list drop down will let you change the suite of resources you are using.
- The Course drop down will let you change the mathematics product you are using.
- You will find the name of the resource you are currently using in the top left of the navigation bar.
